At Yankee Candle, returns and exchanges are handled under the customer protections described below.
This page covers the 30-day return window, merchant-paid return shipping, damaged or incorrect items, and refund timing for U.S. orders.
Return Window
Customers may ask for a return without stating a reason within 30 days of delivery. Exchanges are available when the requested replacement can be supported. Please contact customer care first so the return can be authorized and tracked.
Who Pays Return Shipping
The merchant covers return shipping for approved no-reason returns. We also cover return shipping when the issue involves damage, a defect, a wrong item, a missing item, or another fulfillment error.
Non-Returnable Categories
No-reason returns are not available for custom-made items, clearance or Final Sale merchandise, gift cards, or opened intimate or hygiene-sensitive products. These exclusions do not remove protections for damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing goods.
Refund Timing and Order Cancellation
Once a refund is approved, it is issued to the original payment method within 5?10 business days. You may request cancellation before an order ships; after shipment, return and refund requests are handled under this policy.
